and the loose tube is filled with waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metallic steel wire strength
member, for some cores fiber cable, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to be extruded outside the metallic steel wire
central strength member. The cable core is longitudinally wrapped with a layer of corrugated steel tape, and the steel
wire strands are integrated into an 8-shaped polyethylene sheath. Figure 8 cable GYTC8Y available with Y- acket or
S- acket, GYTC8S, etc, these products are mostly used in self-supporting aerial laying.
